Kris Bernal says first 100 days of being a mom are 'the hardest but most rewarding'
It has already been 100 days since Kris Bernal welcomed her daughter, Hailee Lucca.
In an Instagram Reel, the actress and content creator shared clips of her baby through the months. To celebrate her 100th day, Hailee was all dressed up in an adorable white dress and a red bow in her hair.
According to Kris, “This has been the hardest but most rewarding days I’ve ever had!”
She listed down some challenges of being a new mom, such as “the sleepless nights, sore nipples, diaper changes, pumping around the clock, mom guilts, tears[.]” But these are all balanced out with Hailee’s giggles and their cuddles together.
Kris said, “she has turned my world upside down in the best possible way! She’s making me a better woman!”
And for Kris, the best part of her days is this one moment: “It’s as simple as everytime my little one looks up to me and smiles. I just exhale with gratitude. The connection is just indescribable."
Kris and businessman Perry Choi married in 2021. They announced the pregnancy in March and revealed that they will be having a baby girl in April. They introduced their daughter Hailee Lucca in August.
Kris said that although motherhood has been a challenge, she is constantly learning, growing, and adapting. Throughout her journey, Kris has also been open about dealing with hormones and embracing her body.
