Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is a proud fiancé after Sam Milby starred in the first-ever Filipino-produced Netflix series "Replacing Chef Chico."

On Instagram, Catriona shared a photo of her with Sam during the show's premiere night on November 24.

The beauty queen congratulated Sam for his work on the series, which also starred Alessandra De Rossi and Piolo Pascual.

"Proud din kasi alam ko this will pave the way even more so, for Filipino content on international platforms," Catriona said. "I was laughing, crying and saying to myself - this writing is so good."

Directed by Dan Villegas, "Replacing Chef Chico" follows the life of sous chef Ella (De Rossi) of the Filipino fine dining restaurant Hain. She steps into the shoes of Chef Chico (Milby) after the head chef fell into a coma. Meanwhile, Raymond (Pascual) comes in as a business consultant to help keep the restaurant afloat.

"Replacing Chef Chico" is currently the top TV show on the streaming platform in the Philippines after its global premiere.

Sam and Catriona announced their engagement in February. The couple, who revealed their relationship in 2020, plans to tie the knot next year.
