Miley Cyrus’ first live performance of ‘Flowers’ was in front of her friends and family
Miley Cyrus celebrated her 31st birthday with lots of music.
The singer and actress posted some snaps from her party, where she donned a chic all-black look of a fitted dress, coat, and gloves.
According to Miley, the "very on brand" celebration was a birthday gift to herself.
“I performed for MYSELF and sang my favorite songs including my own,” she said.
The artist performed her empowering mega-hit “Flowers” live for the first time.
“First ‘live’ performance of Flowers was to an audience full of my friends and family,” she said.
“Taking this song back to the seed… she sprouted sensationally. Grateful for the growth in us both,” Miley added.
Miley's comeback single, "Flowers" is the lead single off her latest album “Endless Summer Vacation” released in March. It also includes the songs “River” and “Jaded.”
She previously told British Vogue that she will not be touring in support of the album.
Her latest single, “Used to Be Young” was released in August.
Happy birthday, Miley!
