Anne Curtis, Jasmine Curtis-Smith perform 'buwis-buhay' aerial spiral dance on 'It's Showtime'
Anne Curtis is living up to her title as “queen of buwis-buhay performances.”
On Wednesday’s episode of “It’s Showtime,” the actress performed an impressive aerial stunt as part of her team’s performance for “Magpasikat 2023.”
What made the aerial dance even more meaningful was the presence of Anne’s sister, Jasmine Curtis-Smith who joined the number.
As the sisters did their routine, Anne’s goddaughter Imogen sang her rendition of Coldplay’s hit, “Fix You.”
20 hours after their performance on “It’s Showtime,” the performance was still trending on X (formerly Twitter).
Anne took to Instagram today to share her photos with Jasmine and snaps from the buwis-buhay performance.
“Sestras will always be there to try and help ‘fic you’ no matter what. Love you sestra. Thank you for joining our Magpasikat,” Anne said in her caption.
Jasmine then replied with a comment saying, “Will go through any and all challenges with you!”
Anne and Jasmine’s aerial dance was part of Team ARO’s performance for this year’s “Magpasikat.” Other members of the team are Ryan Bang and Ogie Alcasid.
The group chose the theme, “The World is Healing.” After the performance, Ryan also shared how he found his “the one.”
It has been a thrilling week on “It’s Showtime,” to say the least. The OG Sang’gres from the 2005 Encantadia reunited on Monday and David Licauco also made a surprise appearance.
Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza has been serving as one of the “hurados” on the show as well.
"It's Showtime" started airing on GTV on July 1.
