Sharon Cuneta and KC Concepcion had a tearful reunion at 'Dear Heart' rehearsal
Sharon Cuneta and KC Concepcion were not able to hold back their tears when they reunited.
According to the Instagram Reels posted by the Megastar, the reunion happened a day before Sharon and Gabby Concepcion took the stage for their "Dear Heart" concert.
Sharon was rehearsing on stage, and was shocked when she heard KC yell, “Mama!”
In a separate video, the two could be seen hugging on stage. They couldn't help but shed some tears.
Sharon’s ex-husband and KC’s father Gabby also appeared on stage, giving them tissues and comforting Sharon with a hug.
“KC surprised me while we were rehearsing…It was the first time I saw her again since my birthday on January 6,” the singer and actress said in her caption. “Buti that night siya dumating, kasi nag-iyakan kaming mag-ina sa pagkamiss sa isa’t isa…eh kung sa show kami mismo nagkita malamang di kami nakakanta!”
Sharon added, “Although nagtetextan at nagpadalahan naman kami ng gifts sa isa’t isa…KC will always be my baby #1 no matter how old we both get…I love you, Toot…”
She added, “Unconditional always.”
Fans were happy to see Sharon and KC together again. Sharon previously shared some messages for her eldest daughter, hoping to reconnect with her.
“Still praying we get to talk,” Sharon said. In another post, she said, “I hope you are doing well.”
Sharon and Gabby reunited for a sold-out concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 27. The former on- and off-screen partners are set to bring the "Dear Heart" reunion concert to Cebu on November 17.
KC called the concert “a fairytale come true.”
Prior to the show, Sharon and Gabby teased fans by slow dancing to “Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko,” posting some sweet photos, and hinting at tear-jerking performances.
