Neri Naig says she talks about her many failures in 'Wais na Misis' book
Neri Naig’s “Wais na Misis” book is finally out!
On Instagram, the actress, businesswoman, wife, mother, and now book author said that she talked about her many failures in the book.
“Marami talaga. Yung mga pagsubok na mapapatanong ka talaga kay Lord, why me? Yung mga pagsubok na akala mo wala nang katapusan... yung minsan gusto mo nang maglaho na lang sa mundo para matapos na,” she wrote in the caption.
But despite often feeling discouraged, Neri said she still believed that there was a good lesson waiting for her.
“Tiwala lang kay Lord na everything will be ok after all of the chaos. May planong mas maganda si Lord para sa atin,” she added, saying that instead of seeing failure as a “dead end,” she looks at it as “feedback.
Neri also shared that her husband, Chito Miranda, often asks her, “Kailan ba tayo binigo ni Lord?”
“Lahat ng pinagdaanan namin, oo nga, hindi kami pinabayaan ni Lord. Hindi lang madali lahat pero in God's perfect time, magiging maayos lahat,” Neri said. “By embracing and understanding our failure, may magandang lesson tayong matututunan, we should know how to adapt, baka nga makahanap pa tayo ng ways to earn from it.”
She added that we should be transparent about our failures and show how we learned from them.
“Tayo ang magko-control ng buhay natin kasama ng mga mahal natin sa buhay, hindi sila,” she said, adding that failures are part of the journey and it’s up to us how we will handle them.
Neri ended her post by announcing the availability of her book at National Bookstore and Fully Booked, and reminding: “Tandaan mo, hindi ka nag iisa. Marami tayong nakakaramdam ng pagkabigo pero sama sama tayong magtulungan para makabangon sa buhay.”
Neri announced “Wais na Misis" back in July.
And she is known to be a wais na misis indeed. Husband to Chito Miranda, Neri has several businesses, including selling gourmet tuyo, putting up a Baguio rest house for rent, and a beauty salon, among many others.
Neri graduated from the University of Baguio in 2022 and finished an online program at Harvard Business School in 2020. Currently, she is taking up her master's in business administration.
