Couple gets engaged during Taylor Sheesh's show in Cubao

“It’s a love story, baby, just say yes!”

Internationally renowned drag artist Taylor Sheesh took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a story about a fan who messaged her on Instagram about a proposal he planned to make during her mall show.

On Sunday, Taylor Sheesh reposted a video of the proposal, which took place during her show at Gateway Mall in Cubao.

“Hindi ito scripted,” the drag queen, best known for her Taylor Swift impersonation, wrote.

“Thursday evening[,] flight namin sa Manila from Bohol[,] nag chat siya sa’kin thru IG if may ‘Love Story’ sa setlist, sabi ko is wala,” she added.

Taylor Sheesh then suggested that the fan make his proposal onstage while she took care of lip-syncing to “Love Story.”

As shown in the video, the plan pushed through smoothly, and the fan got his sweetest “yes” from his girlfriend.

The drag queen ended his post by congratulating the newly engaged couple.

In October, Taylor Sheesh celebrated getting her first billboard showing her upcoming events in line with the release “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”

Taylor Sheesh has made waves worldwide for her performances, including her viral staging of the Eras Tour in Trinoma, Quezon City. She was featured on “Good Morning America,” Rolling Stone, Pop Crave, and Gay Times.
