KC Concepcion on Sharon Cuneta, Gabby Concepcion concert: 'A fairytale come true'
KC Concepcion is over the moon about "Dear Heart," the recently concluded concert of her parents, Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion.
On Instagram Saturday, the "Asian Persuasion" actress shared photos of the three of them taken during the concert at SM Mall of Asia Arena.
"Last night was a fairytale come true," KC wrote.
"Thank you, Lord sa pagkakataong ito na ma-experience ang once-in-a-lifetime reunion ni Mama and Papa, along with 25,000 of you live at the arena!" she added.
KC said she couldn't share live updates on social media during the concert because she "savored every second of the night."
"It will forever be etched in my #DearHeart. Thank you all for your love!" she said.
In the comment section, celebrities and netizens sent KC some love through red heart emojis, including Iza Calzado, Bianca Manalo, and Bea Fabregas.
Sharon and Gabby reunited for the Dear Heart concert, which delighted many a Sharonian fan even before the concert took place Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
Before the show, the onetime reel and real life couple teased fans by slow dancing to "Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko," posting some sweet photos, and hinting at tear-jerking performances.
And they delivered. KC even joined her parents onstage for a heart-warming performance of "Ikaw."
On Saturday, Sharon was clearly still on a high, posting on Instagram to thank their fans. "We felt so loved," she said.
Sharon and Gabby became a smashing love team after first starring in the 1981 feature film "Dear Heart." Their relationship blossomed off-screen too, and come 1984, they got married and had KC.
They were legally separated in 1987 and in 1993, their marriage was annulled.
Sharon and Gabby are set to bring the Dear Heart reunion concert to Cebu on November 17.
