Matteo Guidicelli shares Sarah Geronimo's reaction to 'Penduko' trailer

Matteo Guidicelli proudly shared that his wife, Sarah Geronimo, had nothing but positive feedback after seeing the trailer for his upcoming movie, "Penduko."

In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras" Wednesday, Matteo said he was very happy with Sarah's reaction.

"I was very, very happy when my wife, when Sarah said, 'Love, ganda 'yung trailer ha, maganda, maganda,'" he said.

"And just with that, she's the affirmation I needed kumbaga," the "Unang Hirit" host added.

"Penduko" is an official entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.

"Dito sa 'Pedro Penduko,' more on FMA, Filipino Martial Arts. Arnis ang dala dito, hand to hand," Matteo said.

Matteo also shared that he had to visit a priest after an intense shooting for "Penduko."

"Parang napasukan ako ng ibang spirit, 'no. So medyo nag-transform si Penduko. 'Yun, I just, na-realize ko after that shooting day na grabe, tindi pala 'yun. Talagang ilang prayers, pumunta pa ko sa pari pagkatapos nu'n eh kasi parang nag-iba si Penduko eh," he said.

In August, Matteo took his fans behind the scenes on the set of "Penduko."

The movie is directed by JP Laxamana and also stars Cristine Reyes.

Meanwhile, Matteo will star alongside Ruru Madrid, Yassi Pressman, Kylie Padilla, and Katrina Halili in "Black Rider."
