Gabby Concepcion wants to perform with KC in 'Dear Heart' concert with Sharon Cuneta

Gabby Concepcion said that he wants to perform with his daughter KC Concepcion in his upcoming reunion concert with his ex-wife Sharon Cuneta.

In Lhar Snatiago's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, Gabby teased fans with what they should expect at the "Dear Heart" concert.

"We're trying to do our best to sing the songs that you will remember. Kung hindi n'yo alam 'yun po 'yung mga theme songs ng mga pelikula namin and may mga songs din na during that time, na relevant din naman du'n sa ano namin, sa theme namin," the actor said.

He also expressed his desire to share the stage with KC, his daughter with Sharon.

"Hopefully, makakanta kami. I would like to do a song with her; I would like to see KC and Sharon sing, and then I would like to see the three of us sing," he said.

"It's an emotional time for all of us, so, 'pag nangyari 'yun, it would be very meaningful not only for the audience but for us," Gabby added.

The much-awaited reunion concert will happen at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 27, followed by another show at the NUSTAR Convention Center in Cebu City on November 17.

Sharon and Gabby first starred in the feature film "Dear Heart" in 1981 and they became a top pairing on- and off-screen. They got married at the Manila Cathedral in 1984 but separated in 1987.

They previously reunited for a kilig-filled McDonald's commercial in 2018.
