Sid Lucero opens up about exes Alessandra de Rossi, Annika Dolonius

Sid Lucero turned candid on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Friday and openly talked about his past partners Alessandra de Rossi and Annika Dolonius.

According to Sid, he has not spoken to Alessandra since they broke up in 2015. "I'd love to speak to her. I hope [she's willing to talk]."

"I wasn't a very good person back then," he admitted.

Sid and Alex dated back in 2014, when "life was hard on me," the actor said. It was the year he lost his dad, the actor Mark Gil.

"Naging [emotional] punching bag ko si Alex," Sid continued. "My dad had just passed away and she was helping me guide through [it]. She was there the whole time. The day I found out namatay is dad, she was right beside me."

He admits he was "completely unfair" to Alex. "Yung ka-iisang taong tumutulong sa'yo, siya pa yung nababalingan ng sungit. It was unfair to her."

Meanwhile, Sid said he still loves his last girlfriend, the actress Annika Dolonius" and revealed he thought he was going to marry her.

"We were together for seven years. We broke up a little after the pandemic," he said.

"I really thought I was going to marry her."

Emphasizing that he is "only half the story," Sid explained their breakup, saying they "found ourselves in a place where space and time were the best thing we could give the both of us."

"She was going through some stuff and the best thing for her was to change her environment and that's what she did. She went back to Sweden and found a job there outside the industry, which was also one of the things that was troubling her," he said.

Meanwhile, the pandemic was doing him a number. "We weren't working, my daughter needed to be in school. It wasn't OK and that hit me emotionally, and in turn affected me psychologically."

"I love Annika up to now, but I would rather see her fly and soar than to be with me today and be miserable. That's not fun," he said.

In the course of the interview, Sid also spoke bout the brief time he went our with Heart Evangelista, and "loving" his "Love Before Sunrise" co-stars Andrea Torres and Bea Alonzo. — LA, GMA Integrated News
