Food sparks love in Pinoy salo-salo
When was the last time you sat down for a meal with your loved ones? Food has a special way of bringing families closer. When families focus on food and meaningful conversations, eating becomes an experience that goes beyond the dishes on the table.
The very first CDO Family Salo-Salo, dives into the heart of what truly matters – these mealtime moments where we enjoy the flavors of togetherness. "We advocate for bringing families together and enabling them to reconnect with each other through meaningful mealtimes – sa simpleng salo-salo,” said CDO’s VP for Marketing Theresa Chong. In celebration of Family Month last September, CDO invited families to come together at the Ayala Mall Circuit Makati to remind everyone that mealtimes are a cornerstone of family life. Many also tuned in online to be part of the event via the simultaneous livestream broadcasted on CDO’s social pages.

Husband-and-wife broadcasters Julius and Christine Babao discussed how they encourage open communication in their family, making sure their children feel comfortable expressing their feelings and opinions. Digital content creator Ashley Garcia provided a glimpse into the world of today's youth, emphasizing the power of communication and humility in building stronger connections between her and her parents.
