Maxene Magalona honors late father Francis M, 'the GOAT,' on his birthday

Maxene Magalona honored her late father Francis M with a short but meaningful greeting on what would have been his 59th birthday.

The actress and content creator posted an Instagram Reel of her vibing to the Master Rapper’s top hit, "3 Stars & A Sun."

"I am my father’s daughter," Maxene said in her caption. "Happy birthday to the goat[.]"

Maxene also told her supporters: "P.S. If you want to give my Pop a gift, play his songs today and let your kids listen to his sacred messages[.]"

Last year, Maxene released a stripped-down version of the Francis M classic "Kaleidoscope World." She said she wanted to highlight the powerful and timeless message of the '90s song. Maxene also dedicated her healing journey to her dad.

In 2022, Francis M appeared as a hologram at the Eraserheads reunion concert. He performed his verse in the opening number "Superproxy" alongside his sons Elmo and Arkin.

Francis "Kiko" Magalona died in 2009 due to leukemia. The Master Rapper’s hit songs also include "Mga Kababayan" and "Ito ang Gusto Ko."
