Sharon Cuneta admits she was 'hurt' when KC Concepcion unfollowed Kiko, Frankie Pangilinan

Sharon Cuneta admitted that she was "hurt" after her daughter, KC Concepcion, unfollowed Kiko and Frankie Pangilinan on Instagram.

In a media conference for her upcoming concert "Dear Heart," the Megastar said that KC is her opposite.

"Ang lakas ng dugo ng papa niya, kaya sila magkasundo, for better or for worse, they are the same," Sharon said.

"Sometimes 'pag pinapaalalahanan ang isang tao ng amain, anak, kapatid, mommy, merong mga tao na ayaw nilang, I have to be careful, ganoon lang, pagtatampuhan," she continued. "And it hurt me, s'yempre noong nag-unfollow-unfollow, pero pamilya kami. This is a family matter."

She also said that since her separation from KC's dad, Gabby Concepcion, there was never a time that she prevented him from seeing their daughter.

"Marami na akong natiis, marami akong puwedeng nagawa noon, pero hindi ko ginawa because of KC. Lahat ng desisyon ko sa buhay noong araw, because of KC. She was my whole world," Sharon said.

She said that she's happy that KC is with her dad now.

"But I hope that no one forgets, least of all, KC, all the sacrifices I made when I was raising her because it wasn't easy," she continued, saying she had KC when she was just 19 and was "practically still finding my way in this world as a new adult."

"I have to trust in the way that I raised my daughter. That's all," she said. "Since I'm a mother first. I love KC very, very much. I would die for her, for Frankie, for Miel and Miguel, if I had to. Silang apat lang ang papayag akong mamatay kaysa sa kanila."

Sharon then apologized to Kiko for getting involved in the issue.

"I wanna apologize to Kiko and the Pangilinan clan kasi nadawit 'yung dahil doon sa pagka-public ng pag-unfollow," she said.

"'It's really just a small thing that got a bit out of hand, and it's a family matter," she added.

Earlier, KC confirmed that she unfollowed her stepfather and half sister on the social media platform.

"Yes, I unfollowed on social media platform—but I will not unfollow the lessons I have learned growing up into the woman I am today," she said. "I unfollowed, but I will never unlove."

Last week, Sharon and KC exchanged heartfelt messages.

"Still praying we get to talk. After all your work na anak. God is good. Nothing would make me happier than having my whole family with me, and don't ever forget you are part of ours too," Sharon told KC.
