Vickie Rushton shares birth story of son Knoa: 'It was magical'

A month after giving birth to her first child with Jason Abalos, Vickie Rushton took to Instagram to share the birth story of their son, Knoa Alexander.

Vickie said she gave birth to their "great blessing" at exactly 40 weeks of being pregnant.

"Although it didn't go as planned, I wouldn't have it any other way," the first-time mom said.

"It was magical, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat," she added.

Vickie thanked all the doctors and medical staff of Riverside Medical Center who helped her give birth.

"I had the most beautiful birth experience, and that's because I have the best and amazing team," she said.

"I am beyond grateful to be surrounded by competent, caring, loving doctors, nurses, and staff that really made me feel calm and at ease," she added. "Our whole stay felt like a vacation."

Vickie ended her post on a grateful note.

"Thank you, Lord, for this gift. Thank you for making me feel this kind of love," she said.

"Thank you for choosing me and [Jason] to be his parents," she added. "My heart is happy."

Earlier this month, Vickie and Jason announced the birth of their son. They tied the knot in September last year.
