Sharon Cuneta to KC Concepcion: 'Still praying we get to talk'
Sharon Cuneta and KC Concepcion exchanged heartfelt messages on Instagram after the Megastar promoted her daughter's upcoming film "Asian Persuasion."
Sharon shared a poster of the film and encouraged viewers in the United States to watch her eldest child's first Hollywood movie.
"God be with you anak. Please take care of yourself," she said, tagging KC.
"Like I always tell you mama, [though] I'm not perfect, everything I do is for you," KC replied in the comments.
Fans were glad to see the touching mother and daughter interaction, following KC's decision to unfollow her stepdad Kiko Pangilinan and half sister Frankie on Instagram.
Sharon expressed her desire to reconnect with KC.
"Still praying we get to talk. After all your work na anak. God is good. Nothing would make me happier than having my whole family with me, and don't ever forget you are part of ours too," she said.
"I am a mother first, and my heart will only be complete once things are sorted out," she added.
In a statement sent to Boy Abunda, KC said that she may have unfollowed her stepdad and sister, but she will never unlove them.
The actress said she is currently prioritizing her own happiness but expressed hope that their family will overcome their issues in time.
"Remember anak that only those who truly love you will tell you what is true, what will make you a better person. We all love and care for you," Sharon told KC.
"See things from that perspective and you will see differently. I love you. Daddy and your siblings love you."
KC is Sharon's daughter with former husband Gabby Concepcion. Sharon and Gabby will reunite for a concert in October.
