Joe Jonas files for divorce from Sophie Turner after 4 years of marriage

Joe Jonas has filed for divorce from Sophie Turner after four years of marriage.

TODAY.com was the first to report the news, citing exclusively obtained documents of Joe’s petition for dissolution of marriage.

The petition stated that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken." It also said that the couple had a prenuptial agreement.

The document added that the couple’s two kids have been living with Joe in Miami and across other locations in the US. It added, “It is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility."

Joe and Sophie met in 2016 and tied the knot in May 2019. They welcomed their first child in 2020 and another daughter in 2022. 

The Jonas Brothers singer and the “Game of Thrones” star sparked divorce rumors on September 4 when Joe was spotted without his wedding band, and reportedly got in touch with divorce lawyers. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
