Joyce Pring reacts to Juancho Triviño's Padre Salvi scenes
Joyce Pring finally reacted to Juancho Triviño's portrayal of Padre Salvi in "Maria Clara at Ibarra!"
In her latest YouTube vlog, Joyce sat down with her husband as they watched some of his scenes in the hit historical portal fantasy series.
The television host was surprised to see Juancho transform into someone completely different from his own personality.
"I think you're a really good actor kasi hindi ko ma-recognize 'yung asawa ko as I'm watching those clips," she said.
Joyce said Juancho is the exact opposite of his "Maria Clara at Ibarra" character.
"Padre Salvi is a walking red flag while my husband is a walking green flag. Very very kind to kids, animals, and ladies," she said.
Joyce said she has not yet watched the whole series, but she has seen some clips already. She praised the show's production team, writers, cast, and GMA Network for creating an incredible series.
"It's the perfect whirlwind of creativity that I've seen in the longest time," she said.
"Maria Clara at Ibarra," which also stars Dennis Trillo, Julie Anne San Jose, Barbie Forteza, and David Licauco, is currently streaming on Netflix.
Directed by Zig Dulay, the series won a bronze medal at the 2023 New York Festivals (NYF) for Entertainment Program: Drama.
