David Licauco says he's working hard in showbiz, businesses for 'future family'

David Licauco said all the hard work he's putting into showbiz and his food businesses is for the sake of his future family.

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Pambansang Ginoo said he only has one goal: to provide a comfortable life for his family in the future.

"I just have a goal for myself, and that goal is to put food on the table sa future family ko [at] maging komportable sila," the Kapuso actor said.

“Gusto ko rin talagang maging okay ‘yung buhay ng pamilya ko, future family ko, that’s why I’m trying my best to, ‘yun na nga, magpayaman,” he added.

David is set to star in the upcoming "Maging Sino Ka Man" remake with Barbie Forteza.

A previous teaser showed Barbie and David's evolution from FiLay in "Maria Clara at Ibarra" to MonDing in "Maging Sino Ka Man."

Fans have been excited about the series, as Barbie and David already gave a sneak peek at their dynamics during a script-reading session, a reenactment of the movie's ending scene, and even a photo of them sleeping on set.
