Michelle Madrigal says she is 'rebuilding my life one day at a time'

Michelle Madrigal opened up anew about her healing journey on Instagram.

The actress-turned-realtor said that she gets a lot of messages from women stuck in toxic relationships or going through divorce.

“The main question I hear a lot is ‘Where do you get your strength from?’” Michelle said. “Simple answer: from my King. My father. I cannot tell you enough how many times I’ve cried to him.”

With her strong faith and unwavering trust in the process, Michelle has "stopped worrying about the future.”

Michelle also said that she values “Reciprocated energy. Reassurance. Consistency. Commitment. Communication” as well as “Prayers + Surrendering” over worries.

However, she said that healing is not an easy road.

“I still make mistakes, fall into old patterns and habits,” she said.

“I still have to do the inner work but by the grace of God… I’m here. Rebuilding my life one day at a time,” she added.

One way she does that is by spending time alone, which “has been the best thing I’ve done for my overall well-being.”

“Not drinking my feelings away nor ignoring the fact that I am human and allowing myself to have those emotions."

Michelle got divorced from Troy Woolfolk in April 2022. They have a daughter named Anika, born in 2017.

Michelle said life after divorce could also mean “cultivating deeper self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-care."

She revealed dating a man named Kyle in August 2022. However, split rumors started when the actress deleted their Instagram photos and talked about healing.
