Heart Evangelista turns emotional talking about Chiz Escudero, family: 'Take everything away, just don't take my family'

Heart Evangelista couldn't help but shed a tear when she talked about how important her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, and her family are to her.

In Heart's latest vlog titled "Adulting With Heart and Chiz," the Kapuso star and the senator answered some questions about love, marriage, friendship, and how to deal with heartbreak.

When Heart was asked, "What do you pray for at night?" she turned emotional while talking about her answer.

"I always ask for forgiveness for all the things that I didn't understand, and I reacted so abruptly towards," Heart said.

"I'm just very grateful for my life, the good and the bad because I feel like even if I feel sad still about certain things, I take the blame, I'll take all the blame," she added while tearing up.

Heart also said that while she enjoys life's grandeur, nothing is more important to her than Chiz and her family.

"But I always pray that just as long as I have my family, I'm okay," she said. "No matter what you do in life or what you go through, you always go back to your family because they know your heart."

"So for me, my number one prayer is, take everything away, just don't take my family away," she added. "Give them good health, protect them, 'yun lang. I don't need anything else."

As of writing, Heart's vlog is No. 38 in the top trending videos on YouTube.

Last year, Heart and Chiz became subjects of split rumors after the actress admitted that she was going through "a lot of personal stuff."

The married couple ended the rumors after posting pictures of their New Year's celebration together.

Just last May, Heart  revealed that she learned a lot from that rough patch in her marriage.

Heart has expressed appreciation for Chiz during their recent trips, thanking him for supporting her and her interests. She also said that they are now in the same chapter.
