Yassi Pressman, Jon Semira deny third party rumors in breakup
Yassi Pressman and her ex-boyfriend Jon Semira have denied there was a third party involved in their breakup.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Jon said the breakup was a mutual decision and that it had happened awhile back.
“It was a decision made from the both of us, and us only. The third party rumors are false,” Jon wrote.
The split also happened “after an amazing run,” and they are looking forward to the next phase in life.
“We wish each other the best and will always appreciate what we had,” the statement read.
“Our relationship was beautiful and we are both coming out better people because of it,” they added.
In the statement, the couple requested for privacy as they deal with the breakup.
Yassi reshared the statement on her IG account, and confirmed the breakup on "24 Oras" Tuesday.
The two went public with their relationship in 2022.
Following the breakup rumors, Yassi has been linked to Camarines Sur Governor Luigi Villafuerte and had a viral video getting cozy with Ilocos Norte representative Sandro Marcos.
"Hindi po 'yun totoo at all," Yassi said of the viral video. "Nalagyan lang po ng malisya dahil naslow-mo, nalagyan ng music."
Yassi will star in the GMA Public Affairs series “Black Rider” as Ruru Madrid’s leading lady. They also worked together in the film “Video City.”
