Iza Calzado dances with daughter Deia and friends to celebrate her birthday

Iza Calzado had a simple yet meaningful celebration on her birthday .

The actress spent her special day with her friends and fellow dance enthusiasts grooving it out at a dance class. Her husband Ben Wintle and their daughter Deia even joined in on the fun!

Based on her Instagram post, she also had a simple balloon and birthday cake setup.

In her caption, Iza shared why dancing means a lot to her.

“Dancing is a way for me to connect — with my body, to the present moment, with kindred souls and with my family particularly my father [actor and dancer Lito Calzado],” she said.

The actress also hopes that Deia Amihan would grow to love dancing.

“My fervent wish is that my daughter shares this love for dance with me. May it light up her soul and be a way for her to feel that we are connected, forever,” Iza said.

Iza and Ben got married in 2018.

Deia Amihan is their first child, named after Iza’s iconic “Encantadia” character . She was born last January and Iza announced the news in March.
