Mark Herras opens up on being raised by gay parents

Mark Herras has opened up on being raised by gay parents.

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the Sparkle actor said he grew up with his adoptive parents—his uncle Tito Hermie and his partner Daddy Jun.

Asked by Tito Boy on what he knows about gay love, Mark said it's not different from other kinds of love.

"Actually wala, just two normal people na nagmamahalan," he said.

Mark also said that he understood his family situation from an early age and did not think that he should be raised by a man and a woman.

"Sabi ko nga suwerte ako, kasi I have, parang daddy ko then I have my tito, tas I have my mom tas my real dad. Ang dami kong magulang," he said.

"I'm thankful for them kasi feeling ko hindi akong ganitong klaseng tao or nasa position ko ngayon kung hindi dahil sa kanila," he added.

Now that Mark has a family of his own, he said Daddy Jun and Tito Hermie taught him to be a dad who does everything to provide for his family.

"I'll do anything, kahit ano pa 'yan Tito Boy, kaya kong isakripisyo para sa anak ko," he said.

Mark married Nicole Donesa in September 2021. They welcomed their son, Baby Corky, in February that same year.
