Lovi Poe says she had been engaged to Monty Blencowe for 'a couple of years'
Lovi Poe surprised the internet on Tuesday when she announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Monty Blencowe.
The actress shared a life update on Instagram, showing clips of a beautiful beach, two cups of coffee, and her engagement ring.
Lovi said in her caption that this happened years ago.
"A couple of years ago, there were two coffees, one sunrise, and a ring," she said.
"We've shared and celebrated this moment quietly with our family and closest friends, so we're now more than happy to share this sweet #lifeupdate with you," Lovi added.
Lovi's fellow artists Angelica Panganiban, Glaiza De Castro, Kiray Celis, Jackie Lou Blanco, and many more flooded the comments section with messages of congratulations.
In a previous interview, Lovi said that she hopes Monty is a lifetime kind of love.
Lovi and the English film producer made waves in 2019 when she posted photos of them together. They memorably went on a date at the prestigious Royal Ascot in England. They also vacationed in Davao City.
In 2020, Lovi shared her experiences with a long-distance relationship as Monty is based in Los Angeles.
