Maja Salvador and Rambo Nunez had a secret civil wedding in Manila before their Bali ceremony

Maja Salvador and Rambo Nunez had an intimate civil wedding in Manila before they tied the knot in Bali, Indonesia.

In an exclusive interview with Preview, the actress said that she and Rambo got married at the Grand Hyatt Manila on February 14, which happens to be their fourth anniversary.

Maja told the magazine that the civil wedding was for technical reasons, but it was also a very memorable event.

“Dapat talaga isang beses lang,” Maja told Preview. “Pero, since pinili namin to have a destination wedding, hindi kasi i-o-honor ng Philippines ’yung wedding namin sa Bali.”

In their Manila wedding, Maja wore an elegant white Mark Bumgarner dress with a bow — in honor of Rambo’s nickname “Bo.” For the reception, she wore a dress by Berta.

The ceremony’s guests only included Maja and Rambo’s relatives, whereas the dinner party was then opened up to their close friends.

At the event, a sign was set up saying that guests can take photos and videos, but not post them on social media.

The couple had their prenup shoot in front of the pyramids in Cairo, Egypt.

The couple announced their engagement last year, while Maja had a bachelorette party back in April.

Maja and Rambo first dated when the actress was 21 years old. They broke up after a few months but got back together in 2019.

The couple tied the knot — for a second time — in Bali on Monday.
