AiAi delas Alas brushes off 'cougar' comments from bashers

AiAi delas Alas remains an unbothered queen despite receiving some negative comments about her relationship with Gerald Sibayan.

On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the King of Talk asked AiAi if she has been called a "sugar mommy."

The Kapuso Comedy Queen said not to her knowledge, but she has been called a "cougar" before by bashers.

"Sugar mommy" is a term used to refer to woman who provide financial support to a younger lover. "Cougar," meanwhile, is used to refer to woman who pursues a relationship with a younger man.

AiAi is 58 years old while her husband, Gerald, is 28. They tied the knot in 2017.

Tito Boy then asked if AiAi is affected by getting called a "cougar" affects her, but AiAi simply brushes it off.

"I think for me it's not painful because first I can't understand what a cougar is," she quipped.

She also said that age is just a number when it comes to relationships.

AiAi and Gerald recently celebrated their ninth year together as a couple. They also renewed their vows during their fifth wedding anniversary last December.
