Jasmine Curtis-Smith on being at the GMA Gala with sister Anne Curtis: 'Ang saya, finally'

Jasmine Curtis-Smith could not hide her excitement at being at the GMA Gala with her sister, Anne Curtis.

In an interview at the red carpet, Jasmine said that when she entered the Marriott Grand Ballroom, her Ate was the first person she saw.

“Sinigaw ko agad, ‘Sestra!’ Palengkera lang kami diba, kahit na mga naka-gown,” she said with a smile. “But it’s so nice kasi we’re finally under one roof and we’re experiencing one event together. And it’s nice to feel that there’s no network war this evening."

“Ang saya," she added. "Finally, magkasama kami sa isang gala night."

Jasmine also said that since she and Anne are hardly in any projects together, “hopefully, this is the start of something new.”

Anne attended the GMA Gala with her fellow “It’s Showtime” hosts Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, and Jhong Hilario.

The 2023 GMA Gala Ball is currently happening, with the theme “elegant formal." —JCB, GMA Integrated News
