Dominic Roque shares heartwarming video of his wedding proposal to Bea Alonzo
Dominic Roque proposed to Bea Alonzo earlier this week and on Instagram Friday, he shared a heartwarming video of his proposal that might as well be some kind of a love letter for his now-fiancee.
Sharing video snippets from their nearly four years together, Dominic narrated how everything made sense after he met Bea.
"It's like finding myself in someone else. In this crazy world we live in, I found my peace. You and me was the peace I was longing for all along," he said.
Before showing the behind-the-scenes footage of his proposal at Las Casas, Dominic made a touching promise to Bea: "Ako ang magiging pahinga mo sa mundong magulo at maingay," he said.
And then came the actual proposal, along with the footage of his speech, that Bea described as when time stood still.
When she saw Dom get down on one knee, Bea immediately exclaimed, "No way?" And when he pulled out the tiny red box, she said, "Oh my god are you kidding me?"
Even before Dominic could begin his speech, the Kapuso actress started to cry.
"We've been together for almost four years now," Dom began. "We've had our fights, our happy times, our crazy time together, roller coaster ride of our lives. Nalagpasan natin lahat ng yon at alam ko marami pa tayong pagdadaanan together," he said.
"I want to spend my whole life with you forever. I love you very much," he added, and when he asked, "Will you marry me?" Dom's voice broke with emotions.
They kissed and hugged before Dom put the ring on Bea's finger, the couple shedding tears of joy.
The crowd, which included Bea's mom and family, broke in cheers for the happy couple.
In the comment section, the happy couple were once again greeted with congratulations including Rica Peralejo who said, "naiyak ako."
When Bea shared the happy news on Instagram last Wednesday, they were immediately met with warm wishes from their celebrity friends including Heart Evangelista, Vice Ganda, and Anne Curtis.
They got engaged on Tuesday, July 18, and on Friday, Bea shared a close-up of her gorgeous engagement ring.
Bea confirmed her relationship with Dominic Roque in August 2021.
