Saab Magalona's son Pancho gets accepted into regular school

Saab Magalona has shared that her son Pancho has been accepted into regular school.

On Instagram, Saab posted a video of Pancho visiting his school. He could be seen sitting down at a desk and meeting with the staff.

Saab admitted that she first felt skeptical about sending her five-year-old miracle boy to regular school because of her trauma.

“As a mom with birthing trauma, I was skeptical and I thought of all the excuses for him to just stay home,” she said.

She also recalled thinking, “I almost lost him. Absolutely not,” “He’ll be safe if he’s just at home,” and “What if something happens and I’m not there?”

However, it was recommended by Pancho’s neurodevelopmental pediatrician that he go to school and be surrounded by peers.

“I learned that parents with birthing trauma have a hard time sending their kids to school and sometimes we can even get competitive with the teachers,” Saab said. “It’s been a struggle but I know in my heart this is what’s good for Pancho. This is good for me and Jim, too.”

“I started out skeptical, now I’m excited," she added. Saab also asked for prayers for Pancho’s schooling to go well.

Saab and Jim Bacarro tied the knot in 2015 and have two sons, Pancho and Vito.

Saab has previously opened up about the details of Pancho's birth story, cerebral palsy, and how he bravely fought through his health challenges.

Recently, she shared that Pancho can now also stand up on his own, use a straw, and has made significant walking progress.
