Marian Rivera wants her kids Zia, Sixto to watch her upcoming series

Marian Rivera is looking forward to have her children watch her upcoming series with Gabby Concepcion.

According to Nelson Canlas's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, the Kapuso Primetime Queen already started taping for the project in Laguna.

The family series has elements of drama, comedy, and a touch of fantasy, something that her kids can enjoy.

"Ngayon kasi mahalaga talaga sa akin na 'yung pinipili kong din na mga projects ay, alam mo 'yun, kaya kong ipanood sa mga anak ko," she said.

"Si Zia may isip na, very excited din siya na, 'Mama, what's the story all about?' May mga ganoon siya. Sabi ko, 'Hindi, basta panoorin mo.'"

The series is Marian's return to primetime after spending the pandemic years focusing on her family.

Her kids, Zia and Sixto, got so used to her presence at home that they had a difficult time adjusting to her leaving for work.

"'Yung anak ko nasa banyo na. 'Mama, where are you going?' Sabi ko, 'Anak, di ba may trabaho si Mama?' 'No, mama don't go to work.' Hanggang sa nakaligo ako nakabantay sa akin. Ganoon ka-sweet," she said.

Marian will play two roles in the upcoming series, and one of them will be an alien!

Other cast members include Max Collins, Gabby Eigenmann, and Raphael Landicho.
