Winwyn Marquez opens up on struggles with balancing work and motherhood
Winwyn Marquez got real about being a working mom anew.
In an Instagram Reel, the actress showed herself looking happy at work and taking care of her daughter, Baby Luna.
Winwyn said it is "a never-ending dilemma" when she is "caught in between the joy of work and the love for [her] child."
"A constant struggle between the time and energy required for both, leaving me and [I'm] sure other parents feeling torn between their responsibilities in both spheres," she said.
The Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 is hoping to have a balance between work and parenting, which is "easier said than done."
"Maybe the key is to understand that pursuing both is possible with a little effort and a lot of flexibility," she said.
"Striking a balance that allows individuals to thrive in both spheres while eliminating the guilt and judgment should be the ultimate goal," she added.
On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Winwyn said that even with her career, Luna is her top priority.
Winwyn revealed her pregnancy through a vlog in 2021. She welcomed Luna with her non-showbiz fiancé, whom she calls her "first love."
Luna celebrated her first birthday in April.
Winwyn recently appeared in "Mga Lihim ni Urduja." She is also in the upcoming movie, "The Cheating Game."
