Why Rhian Ramos and Michelle Dee call each other 'wifey'

Have you ever wondered why close friends Rhian Ramos and Michelle Dee call each other "wifey?"

On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Rhian revealed that it started after they began living together.

"Every time na umuwi kami from work or from anywhere, when we open the door sinisigaw talaga namin at the top of our lungs, 'Honey, I'm home!' Dahil 'yun 'yung nakikita mo sa movies," she said.

"So pag may sumigaw na nang ganun, 'yung isa naman, whoever is home, will open the door, 'Honey, welcome home!'" she continued.

The Kapuso actress said they eventually realized that they are just like a couple, especially as living together made them know everything about each other.

"Natatawa na lang kami sa isa't isa na parang, 'Para nga talaga tayong mag-asawa.' We are partners forever," Rhian said.

Rhian and Michelle are close friends with Max Collins. The three of them often borrow clothes from each other and they even have a communal closet!

"We're really family that got to choose members," Rhian said.

Michelle recently came out as bisexual shortly after winning Miss Universe Philippines 2023. Rhian said she knew that the beauty queen was coming out a week before it was announced to the public.

In the same interview, Rhian confirmed her breakup and reconciliation with politician and businessman Sam Verzosa.

The two were spotted holding hands in the GMA Thanksgiving Gala last year. They recently attended the MEGA Ball together.

Rhian currently stars in murder mystery "Royal Blood," which premieres on Monday, June 19, on GMA Telebabad at 8:50 p.m. after "Voltes V: Legacy."
