Gabbi Garcia grateful to Jodi Sta. Maria for 'all the life lessons and chika'

Gabbi Garcia dedicated a short but heartfelt message for her on-screen mom, Jodi Sta. Maria, on her birthday.

On her Instagram Stories, the Kapuso It Girl posted a selfie of them, seemingly while taping the series “Unbreak My Heart” in Europe.

“Happiest birthday, ate @jodistamaria," Gabbi said. "Grateful for you and all the life lessons [and] chika!!! You have such a beautiful soul! Sending love to you!!”

“Enjoy your trip!!!” she added. “Pag balik mo, taya ulit tayo sa lotto.”

“Unbreak My Heart” is the historic collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN. Its first trailer was released in March.

Gabbi plays Alex, the estranged daughter of Rose, played by Jodi. The Kapuso actress said it is her most mature role to date.

Joining the star-studded cast are Joshua Garcia and Richard Yap.

The cast got close as they filmed the series in Europe, bonding over shopping and dining.

“Unbreak My Heart” airs Mondays to Thursdays at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Telebabad, Pinoy Hits, and I Heart Movies, and on GTV at 11:25 p.m.

The series is also aired on GMA Pinoy TV and TFC. Advanced streaming is on GMANetwork.com, iWantTFC, and Viu.
