Rita Daniela confirms split from non-showbiz partner

Rita Daniela and her non-showbiz partner have gone their separate ways.

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the singer-actress finally  confirmed the rumors that she has broken up with Baby Uno's father.

Rita said she and her ex-boyfriend were together for four years.

"Naghiwalay na po kami nung Tatay ni Uno. We really tried our best just like everybody else but it didn't work out," she said.

Rita said, however, that they remain friends and they are doing their best to co-parent their son.

"I'm actually proud of ourselves, kaming dalawa, kasi hanggat maaga inaayos na namin siya para pag lumaki na si Uno, alam mo po 'yun, peaceful po kami and we can still be a family," she said.

Rita announced her pregnancy last year. She gave birth to Baby Uno in December, just before Christmas.

Back in September, a report said that Rita split with Uno's father. She denied the claims, saying that she has chosen to keep her personal life private.
