Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are happily married thanks to an extra blanket

It seems that one of the keys to Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo's happy marriage is good sleep.

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Judy Ann said that one thing that they do for a stronger relationship is to have separate blankets during slumber time.

This way, they make sure that no one wakes up on the wrong side of the bed.

"Kasi 'pag magka-share kami ng kumot, naaagawan ko siya ng kumot. Tapos, aagawin niya sa 'kin, magigising ako," Judy Ann said.

"So, sira na 'yung tulog namin. Pag gising namin, bad trip na kami pareho," she continued.

According to Juday, the last thing that she and Ryan fought over was alarm clocks. Sleep is indeed taken seriously at Casa Agoncillo!

However, Judy Ann also said that having open communication is important for their relationship.

"It was never naman 'yung dumating sa point na 'ay happy na forever.' Hindi naman. Trinabaho naman din namin sya. Step by step, a little at a time," she said.

"Through the years, nag-mature na rin kami, alam na namin makipag-usap sa bawat isa, we already know how to deal with each other's issues," she added.

They also make sure to go on date nights, even if it is as simple as an at-home movie marathon.

Judy Ann and Ryan tied the knot in 2009. They have three children together: Yohan, Luna, and Lucho.
