Kris Aquino on Bimby flying back to the Philippines: 'He deserves to enjoy being 16'
Kris Aquino’s son Bimby flew home to the Philippines early this week to be with his family.
In an Instagram post, Kris shared touching moments with her youngest son at the airport.
Kris said that after discussing it with Bimby, “nakikita ko 'yung stress [and] anxiety my bunso was feeling. He’s had to grow up so fast because he needed to learn to be responsible in helping [take] care of me."
The Queen of All Media added that Bimby saw her starting with three autoimmune diseases when they first went to the US in 2022, until she was recently diagnosed with five.
“As his mama [I] felt for a few months he deserves to enjoy being 16,” Kris said.
With that, Kris said Bimby was longing to be with his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, as well as his older brother Josh.
She also posted a video of Bimby surprising Josh in the Philippines and they shared a hug.
“[I] love you, it was heartwarming to see you [and] kuya together,” she said. Kris also thanked fashion designer Michael Leyva “for being part of our family.”
Kris also gave some updates on her health. She said that Tuesdays are for her immunosuppressant or chemotherapy.
“[I] only have until the end of June until [I] need to lessen my activities in high density places because by then my immunity will be too weak to fight any infection,” she added.
Before ending her post, Kris told her kids, “[I] love you [with] my whole heart, kuya [and Bimb]. Mama promised she’ll go through all treatments so [I’ll] be around, God willing, while you both still need me.”
