Here's what happened the day after Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey got married

Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey have been married for two months now and on Instagram the new husband has been sharing some snaps and videos, as well as his thoughts on the huge life event that transpired for them.

On Instagram Monday, Jeremy shared a reel of what happened the after after their officially tied the knot.

With a speaker and bottle of champagne in tow, Pia and Jeremy had planned to watch their first sunset as man and wife on the very beach they got married on. "We listened to our favourite songs, brainstormed our wedding videos and relaxed as the tide came in and the sun dipped below the horizon," Jeremy narrated.

But they forgot one thing. "This beach gets cut off from the rest of the island when the tide comes in," Jeremy said tagging the exclusive private island in Seychelles.

"A huge wave hit the beach, soaking us, sweeping away our stuff and reminding us we only had a few minutes to get back home or we’d be sleeping with the sand flies and crabs," he continued.

The video first showed Pia relaxing on the beach, singing along their favorite songs. There was a clip of their entangled feet, indicating the newly married couple were relaxing and enjoying their time. And then it cut to Pia picking up their wet belongings, hurriedly walking across boulders as huge waves rolled in again.   

Clearly amused, Jeremy ended his note by tagging his wife and saying, "we couldn’t have planned it better if we tried."

Pia and Jeremy announced their wedding earlier this month. In an Instagram post, Pia put a date stamp of "24.3. 2023" or March 24, 2023, indicating the date when they exchanged "I Dos."
