Matteo Guidicelli on Sarah Geronimo's parents: 'Sana balang-araw maging OK ang lahat'

Matteo Guidicelli is keeping the faith that his in-laws will one day be in good terms with him and his wife Sarah Geronimo.

In the latest episode of "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," Matteo addressed his relationship with Mommy Divine and Daddy Delfin, Sarah's parents.

The couple is known to be against Matteo and Sarah's marriage.

"I'd like to believe madam na things will be OK in time," Matteo said. "I think lahat naman ng bagay sa buhay, hindi puwedeng pilitin. Timing-timing lang."

"Sana balang-araw maging OK ang lahat. Not just for me but for Sarah's peace of mind. Kasi at the end of the day, family is family," he added.

Matteo and Sarah tied the knot in a surprise ceremony in February 2020 despite the alleged intervention of Mommy Divine.

Last October, Sarah penned a heartfelt letter for her family, apologizing for hurting them over her decisions in life.

Matteo is the newest member of the "Unang Hirit" barkada after signing a contract with GMA Public Affairs.

He will also work on a docu series about the environment and star in upcoming action series "The Black Rider" with Ruru Madrid.
