Michelle Dee receives words of support from Melanie Marquez ahead of Miss Universe Philippines coronation night

Michelle Dee received the sweetest words of encouragement from her number one fan, none other than her mom, Melanie Marquez.

The Miss Universe Philippines hopeful posted a text message from Melanie on her Instagram Stories.

Melanie told her daughter "you're doing great!" as she said she's been watching Michelle’s pageant journey. 

“Just be yourself, relax but don’t forget to claim on stage that you’re wearing a crown elegantly smiling radiantly as you sway your hips walking on the stage,” Melanie added.

“I am your number 1 avid fan! I love you!” Melanie said.

Michelle said of the message, “If you know, you know. This means A LOT coming from her.”

“Hoping I can give her the BEST mother’s day gift soon,” she added.

Michelle recently opened up about her difficult childhood in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” and said that she is “strong like my mom.”

Michelle was named Miss Universe Philippines Tourism when she competed in Miss Universe Philippines 2022.

Michelle was also crowned Miss World Philippines 2019 and finished in the top 12 of the global competition.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 coronation night happens tomorrow, May 13 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
