Rayver Cruz and Julie Anne San Jose reveal how their relationship started

Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz are one of the sweetest celebrity couples today.

On Bea Alonzo's vlog, the pair revealed how they first met and talked about how their relationship developed.

According to the couple, they first crossed paths when Rayver transferred to GMA Network in 2018.

They also shared that they started out as friends and remained pals for a long time.

Julie Anne said that she would even call Rayver "bro" before and say things like, "What's up, bro?"

At some point, she started calling him "Ray," which was one way they knew things shifted in the relationship.

"Possible pala na may love ako sa best friend ko," said Rayver.

They both agreed that being friends first is a good start to a relationship. Ray added that in that way there is no need to impress the other person.

Bea also said that she and her boyfriend Dominic Roque started out as friends.

Rayver and Julie Anne have an upcoming movie together titled "The Cheating Game." They can also be seen on "All-Out Sundays" and "The Clash."

Julie also sang the "Voltes V" theme song in Japanese for "Voltes V: Legacy." She recently starred on hit historical portal fantasy series "Maria Clara at Ibarra," which reached no. 1 on Netflix Philippines.
