David Licauco opens up about a recent break-up with a girlfriend last January

Is David Licauco still mending a broken heart?

In a vlog by content creator Jai Asuncion, the Pambansang Ginoo admitted he recently broke up with a girlfriend as recently as January of this year.

Jai asked David if he had a "lover ngayon" and the Kapuso celebrity replied saying, "Kaka break ko lang actually nung mga January of this year."

When asked why they broke up, David said "Showbiz kasi. Medyo time-consuming. Nawalan ng oras." 

It was not immediately clear if David was referring to the same girlfriend he mentioned on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" last February.

During that interview, David said they broke up because of a third party, which is actually just one of many reasons.

Anyway, David's appearance on Jai's platform also yielded a TikTok video where they also danced to "Obsessed With You x All About Him - ARNEL REMIX."

"Ang mahiyain naman ng mga kasama ko," Jai wrote in the caption.

In the video, which David reposted on his Instagram Stories, they were joined by Agassi "Aga" Ching, who is reportedly David's childhood friend and Jai's boyfriend.

David starred on the hit GMA TV series, "Maria Clara at Ibarra." The show is currently streaming on Netflix and reached no. 1 in the Philippines. The series also recently won bronze at the 2023 New York Festivals.
