Elle Villanueva on her relationship with Derrick Monasterio: 'We're very committed to each other'

Elle Villanueva and Derrick Monasterio are two people who don't confine themselves to the pressure of having a label on their relationship.

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the "Voltes V: Legacy" actress said she and Derrick would like to keep their relationship private.

"We are very committed to each other, we have the same goals with our relationship, but we don't want to put a label on it publicly because we want to keep our relationship private," Elle said.

Meanwhile, Derrick said having a label on a relationship is the least of his concerns, saying it wasn't important for him.

"S'yempre gusto ko malinaw pero at the same time kasi pag may label minsan baka ma-pressure ka," he said.

"Why would you celebrate a monthsary kung araw-araw naman pwedeng monthsary?" he added.

Elle also said that since they're both in the show business industry, having a label in their relationship would just cause noise in the future.

"Kunyari in the future, mag-away [kami], madami nang noise, mag-ke-create siya ng madaming noise that might affect our relationship," she said.

"For me, showbiz, work lang siya, and si Elle 'yung parang sanity ko so ayokong haluan siya ng work kasi stressful na nga 'yung work eh," Derrick added.

In a previous report, Elle said she's completely fine with her relationship setup with Derrick.

"Ang importante naman ay genuine sa akin 'yung tao, and honest siya. We have an open communication," she said.
