Derrick Monasterio, Elle Villanueva talk about their 'no label' relationship
Derrick Monasterio and Elle Villanueva opened up on their "no label" relationship.
In an interview with PEP.ph, the "Return to Paradise" stars said they are not succumbing to pressure from society that labels are necessary.
"Ang status namin, wala kaming mga label," Derrick said about the real score between him and Elle.
"'Yung importante sa amin, 'yung ipinapakita namin sa isa't isa. 'Yung love namin for each other," he added. "Hindi sa amin importante 'yung labels."
Elle, who previously said that Derrick is courting her, said she is OK with their current setup.
We have an open communication," she said. "So, 'yung labels, it's actually just labels. That's for me, ha?"
Elle said she does not want to rush the relationship.
"Parang we are exclusively dating," she added. "I like kung nasaan man kami ngayon."
Derrick, for his part, said he and Elle are clear with how they stand with each other.
Malalim na kaagad 'yung intindihan," he said.
Meanwhile, Derrick has already introduced Elle to his mom, Tina.
Nakita niya na nagbabago ako, nagma-mature," he said.
Earlier, he also shared that what made him fall for Elle was that she was concerned for his growth.
Meanwhile, the actress said she bonded with Derrick's mom over dinner and wine in Bonifacio Global City.
"I find Tita so fun. Very fun mom siya," said Elle.
Previously, the pair spent Valentine's Day working out together on a gym date. They also went for brunch and posed for photos together that made netizens kilig.
