Juancho Triviño doesn't regret marrying Joyce Pring early: 'We had a very clear path'

Since getting to know each other on the set of "Unang Hirit," Juancho Triviño and Joyce Pring had a whirlwind of a love story.

They got together in late 2018, and got engaged — and apparently also married — in 2019.

Now, at the age of 30, Juancho is a father to a son, and expecting his second child with Joyce.

In an interview on "Updated with Nelson Canlas," the "Maria Clara at Ibarra" star stated that neither he nor Joyce have an ounce of regret about how things went.

"We had a very clear path e, we had a very clear path na inallow ng Panginoon na tahakin namin," he said.

"Lahat ng mga pinagdaanan namin kahit na after we got married it made us who we are right now and better humans and better spouses towards one another," he added. "So believe in that, so 'yung regret or 'yung was it too soon, that regret doesn't exist in this house."

Juancho said that their "end goals" were the same and that they both had a specific timeline on when they wanted to get married.

Additionally, the time they spent working as hosts for "Unang Hirit" allowed them to bond and get to know each other.

"Kaya sobrang na-expedite 'yung dating stage, ‘yung getting to know stage," he said. "On top of that nag-marriage counseling pa kami. On top of that, you know, we went to church together."

"So we wanted to not waste time, na sinabi namin sige nga kung compatible tayo at kung magkakaroon tayo ng blessings from our mentors and from God let's try, let's try," he added.
