EA Guzman brings award to late father's grave on his birthday

Edgar Allan Guzman honored his late father on his birthday by bringing his latest acting award to his grave.

In a touching Instagram Reel, an emotional EA lays down his Best Supporting Actor Award from the 37th PMPC Star Awards for Movies on his late father’s tombstone.

“Happy Birthday in heaven, Daddy! Eto yung gift ko sa’yo, bago kong award. Atin ‘to. I LOVE YOU!” the actor said in his caption.

In a previous Instagram post, EA said that this is his first nod from the award-giving body.

EA won the award last February for his role as Neb in the drama “Coming Home.”

It was an official entry to the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival. The film starred Jinggoy Estrada and Sylvia Sanchez. Also part of the cast were EA’s girlfriend and Kapuso actress Shaira Diaz, Martin Del Rosario, Jake Ejercito, and Vin Abrenica.
