Rodjun Cruz's son in hospital with dengue: 'Asking for healing prayers for Baby Joaquin'
Rodjun Cruz's son, Joaquin, is down with dengue.
On Instagram, Rodjun shared the unfortunate news with a photo album that included a picture of Joaquin on a hospital bed with tubes stuck to his arm.
Of course, Joaquin can be seen with an iPad, and the good news is Joaquin can be seen laughing in the same pic.
The post also included videos of Joaquin laughing and an additional snap of Joaquin with Rodjun and another with mom Dianne Medina.
Tagging his "very brave boy," Rodjun wrote, "Love you anak! Asking for healing prayers for Baby Joaquin. dengue +"
Rayver Cruz dropped two emojis: praying hands and the heart-eyes emoticon.
Sunshine Cruz wrote, "Get well soon inaanak!!"
Maja Salvador said, "feel better baby joaquin."
Rochelle Pangilinan, Winwyn Marquez, EA Guzman, Pancho Magno, Lovely Abella-Manalo, Therese Malvar, and Geneva Cruz also sent their love and prayers.
Lani Misalucha penned this message, "Oh my gosh baby. Feel better soon. Just prayed for you."
Rodjun and Dianne have been married since 2019. They welcomed Baby Joaquin in September 2020.
According to data from the Department of Health (DOH), the number of dengue cases in the first quarter of 2023 rose by 94% over the same period in 2022.
The World Health Organization (WHO) also warned that dengue and other diseases caused by mosquito-borne arboviruses were spreading faster and further amid climate change. WHO also warned that global outbreaks could be looming.
