Kiray Celis surprises mom with P1M cash for her birthday

Kiray Celis surprised her mom with P1 million in cash for her birthday.

In a Facebook video, the comedienne shared that this money will be used for their family to build a house, which they will then rent for extra income.

Kiray stuffed the cash in a motorcycle helmet, which was then put into a box.

She let her parents play a spelling game to win either P20,000 or the mystery box. When her mom won, she chose the box.

Finally seeing the cash, they both cried tears of joy.

“Sabi ko kay mama, June ko pa mabibigay,” Kiray said through her tears. “Pag meron ka palang goal tapos gusto mong maibigay agad, bibigay talaga agad ni Lord. Kaya di ko na inintay yung June, binigay ko na kaagad sa ‘yo, ma. One million—happy birthday mama."

“Isang milyong regalo sa birthday ng aking ina.. kulang pa yan sa pagmamahal, pagaalaga at pagaasikaso mo sakin..” Kiray added in an Instagram post. “[Akala] ko [June] ko pa mabibigay sayo. Pero nabuo ko na ng maaga. Worth it lahat ng pagod at paos ko sa lahat ng trabaho ko.”

Kiray said that she hopes to be an inspiration to kids who are the family breadwinner.

“[Kapag] napagod.. magpahinga lang tapos tuloy ulit! Para maibigay lahat at makatulong sa pamilya natin,” she said.

“Maliit man o malaki, basta galing sa puso ang tulong mo.. naappreciate yan ng mga magulang niyo. Mabuhay lahat ng bread winner na anak sa mundo!” she added.

The actress and content creator is truly a loving daughter. For her dad’s 63rd birthday last year, she gave him P63,000.
