Aljur Abrenica admits to cheating on Kylie Padilla

Aljur Abrenica admitted that he cheated on Kylie Padilla and that's why their marriage fell apart.

The actor made the revelation on Toni Gonzaga's vlog.

"Yeah, totoo naman, totoo naman 'yun. On my part, oo. Ina-admit ko 'yun, may pagkakamali ako," he said.

He also said he did everything to save their relationship.

"Mare-realize mo na I have to accept kasi hindi na talaga. Kasi ginawa ko na lahat. At siya rin, ginawa niya rin lahat in fairness," he said.

According to Aljur, the separation was mutual. He said he still has love for Kylie, but they are better as co-parents Kylie has said the same thing.

He said that he thought he was prepared when they got married, but in retrospect, he thinks he wasn't really prepared for it.

On cheating, he said, "Everything that I, you do is may kapalit."

"Walang kang takas dun. Wala kang takas," he added.

Aljur also shared that he had been heartbroken before and that he had been cheated on in the past.

"Ang sakit, it's so painful, sobrang painful. It breaks you. Naalala ko na parang there's no life, wala ka ng buhay, hindi ka na magising nang maaga. A part of you dies e, 'yung worth mo, mawawala. It's just the worst talaga," he said.

Aljur said his biggest mistake in his marriage to Kylie was not spending time with his kids. They have two sons, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo.

"I'm lucky enough to, privileged enough to have kids," he said, adding, "Kasi mga bata, it teaches you to be a better man."

He also shared that he wants his kids to know that he is not perfect.

"Kahit mali 'yung mga naging desisyon ko, I did my best," he said.

When Toni asked Aljur on the status of his heart now, he said, "Sapat lang. Sapat sa pagmamahal sa sarili ko, sapat sa pagmamahal ko sa Panginoon, sa mga anak ko, sa lahat ng mga importanteng tao sa buhay ko, sapat. Hindi labis, hindi kulang."

Aljur and Kylie married in 2018. They separated in 2021.

The actor is now dating AJ Raval.
