Gelli de Belen opens up on friendship with Carmina Villarroel, Aiko Melendez, Candy Pangilinan

Gelli de Belen has opened up on her longstanding friendship with Carmina Villarroel, Aiko Melendez, and Candy Pangilinan.

On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Gelli said that they have a great friendship despite usually being up for the same acting roles.

"One thing with us is wala kaming selosan. There's no competition. And that's important because we are in the same industry. We actually get pitted for the same roles. Pare-pareho kami edad e," she said.

"If she's getting something, 'Uy, fabulous! Libre mo kami! Hello?'" she continued.

According to Gelli, she met Carmina when she was 14 years old, Aiko when she was 15, and Candy when she was around 19 years old.

"They understand me. I do not have to explain who I am, what I believe in because they understand, they know. We practically grew up together," Gelli said.

"Nakikita pa lang nila ako—alam na nila anong nangyari," she added.

Gelli said they are also honest with their thoughts to each other.

"Kahit na jinu-judge namin ang isa't isa, we judge each to each other's face as well na parang, 'Uy, grabe ka ha. Masyado ka,'" she continued, adding that it comes from a place of love.

"I love all of them," she said.
